An interactive lecture highlighting the key steps of nutraceutical development and the importance of collaboration between industry and academia

Cor.Con. International had the pleasure of contributing to a lecture at the University of Parma entitled “From Idea to Market: How to Develop a Food Supplement.”

Cor.Con. International was invited by Prof. Giannamaria Annunziato to deliver a seminar within the Master’s Degree program in Economics and Management of Sustainable Food Systems, as part of the Nutraceuticals course.

During the lecture, Francesco Bettini, our R&D Specialist, shared with students some of the key elements involved in the development of a food supplement.

Bringing a product from concept to market requires much more than a good idea: it demands the ability to align scientific evidence, regulatory frameworks, product claims, and market strategy within a coherent development pathway. Achieving this integration requires multidisciplinary expertise and strong collaboration across different teams.

For Cor.Con. International, participating in educational initiatives of this kind is both a pleasure and a responsibility. We believe that interaction between industry, universities, and local institutions plays an essential role in helping students bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications.

Strengthening these collaborations contributes to building a more solid ecosystem where education, research, and industry work together, ultimately supporting innovation and the growth of the local territory.
