Cor.Con. International announces the publication of new clinical data in the peer-reviewed journal Global Pediatric, reporting on the adjunctive use of the nutraceutical formulation Epilamba® in pediatric patients affected by epilepsy.

The study enrolled pediatric patients receiving stable polytherapy with antiseizure medications and investigated whether the addition of Epilamba® could mitigate treatment-related adverse effects without interfering with seizure control. Participants received one sachet per day of Epilamba® for six months and were assessed at baseline, three months, and six months.

The results showed that adjunctive Epilamba® did not significantly modify seizure frequency or seizure semiology throughout the study period, indicating no interference with the efficacy of ongoing antiseizure pharmacological therapy. In contrast, statistically significant improvements were observed in treatment-related adverse effects.
