Cor.Con. International reaches the final of the CPHI Pharma Awards 2026 in the Finished Formulation category
Cor.Con. International is proud to announce that Epilamba Junior has been shortlisted as a finalist for the CPHI Pharma Awards 2026 in the Finished Formulation category.
The CPHI Pharma Awards recognise individuals, teams and companies contributing to innovation across the global pharmaceutical industry. In 2026, the Awards span 15 categories covering different areas of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, technology and leadership.
Being selected among the finalists represents an important milestone for Cor.Con. International and for the development journey behind Epilamba Junior.
CPHI Pharma Awards 2026 and the Finished Formulation category
The Finished Formulation category recognises innovation related to formulation and finished products.
Entries in this category are assessed according to four key dimensions:
- Innovation: the introduction of a new idea, method or novelty to the market.
- Purpose: the ability to achieve its intended purpose while offering clear benefits or improvements over existing solutions.
- Problem solving: the ability to address a defined problem in an effective way.
- Competitive Advantage: the ability to provide meaningful differentiation within the market and its category.
The selection of Epilamba Junior as a finalist places the project alongside innovations from companies operating internationally in pharmaceutical formulation and product development.
Epilamba Junior, from research to clinical evidence
Epilamba Junior is the result of a research and development programme focused on quality of life in children with epilepsy, particularly on some of the challenges associated with the condition and its long term management.
An important part of the development programme was the clinical investigation of the formulation. The results of the clinical study have now been published in a peer reviewed scientific journal and are available here.
The development of the project also received support from Regione Emilia Romagna within the European Funds framework. Further information about the project and funding are available here.
