EuStabil is a food supplement based on Berberine (from Berberis aristata), Artichoke (Cynara scolymus), Butyrate and FOS (fructooligosaccharides).
EuStabil has been developed as nutritional support for the phase following a therapy with GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs (GLP-1 RA), in order to avoid the so-called “rebound effect” that may be observed after discontinuation of the therapy.
EuStabil is designed to support digestive and hepatic function and physiological metabolic balance.
EuStabil is to be taken according to the doctor’s instructions as part of the management of one’s dietary and metabolic balance. It is available in tablets; it is recommended to take two tablets a day, before the main meal.
Artichoke has a digestive and hepatic function, helps in the elimination of intestinal gas, helps in the body’s normal purifying functions, helps lipid metabolism and has an antioxidant action*.
Berberine has a digestive and hepatic function, helps with the regularity of intestinal transit, with the functionality of the digestive system and helps the regular functioning of the cardiovascular system.
The product is safe and compliant with Directive 2002/46/EC
The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep away from children under 3 years of age.
At the end of, or during the progressive tapering of a therapy with GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs (GLP-1 RA), the interest in nutritional strategies that support the maintenance of the results achieved is common. The literature documents that, upon discontinuation of the therapy, a partial regain of the lost weight and of blood glucose levels is often observed [1,2], the so-called rebound effect. The data available in the literature indicate that, one year after stopping the drug, patients regain about 60% of the weight lost, with a regain trajectory that tends towards a plateau at around 75% in the long term [11]. These data underline the importance of nutritional support in this phase, to accompany the patient towards a less traumatic transition from drug cessation.
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is documented in the literature for its role in supporting digestive and hepatic function and lipid metabolism [3]. FOS are prebiotic fibres that act as a substrate for the intestinal microbiota [4]. Butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid produced by the fermentation of fibre in the colon, is the subject of growing scientific interest for its role in the physiology of the intestinal mucosa [5]. Berberine is a plant alkaloid widely studied for its possible impact on glucose and lipid metabolism [6].
Alongside general nutritional support, scientific research has explored with growing interest the possible involvement of these components in the metabolic axes implicated in the regulation of body weight. Preclinical studies suggest that prebiotic fibres such as FOS, through colonic fermentation and the consequent production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) such as butyrate, may interact with the FFAR2/FFAR3 receptors expressed on intestinal L-type enteroendocrine cells, which are involved in the secretion of gastrointestinal hormones including endogenous GLP-1 [5,7]. Similarly, for berberine, possible effects on glucose and lipid metabolism and on fasting blood glucose have been investigated in the literature [8], as well as a possible role in modulating the composition of the intestinal microbiota [9]. This ingredient has also been able to demonstrate, in cell models, that it stimulates the release of GLP-1 by human intestinal cells [10].
Cor.Con. International has developed EuStabil as complementary nutritional support for people in the follow-up phase after a therapy with GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs.

After a period of therapy with GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs (GLP-1 RA), many people wonder how to maintain over time the results they have achieved, as the treatment comes to an end or is gradually reduced. It is a delicate moment from a metabolic point of view: appetite gradually returns to previous levels, old eating habits are just around the corner, and the body has to get used again to managing on its own an energy balance that, until shortly before, was also sustained by the action of the drug. In addition to this, the data indicate that there is a real risk of a so-called “rebound” after abandoning the pharmacological therapy. Without the strong action of the drug in blocking appetite stimuli, the patient may experience a weight regain ranging from 0.4 kg to 0.8 kg per month.
EuStabil was created to accompany this phase, allowing the consumer an easy transition after the conclusion of the therapy with GLP-1 agonist drugs, without incurring the previously mentioned “rebound effect”. The Eustabil formula is based on four ingredients that act on the digestive, hepatic and intestinal front — an area that is often overlooked, but central to general wellbeing when returning to a more regular diet.
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) owes its traditional properties above all to cynarin and the other polyphenols contained in the leaves, compounds long associated with support for digestive and hepatic function, with the elimination of intestinal gas and, a lesser-known but interesting aspect, with physiological lipid metabolism. Berberine is the main alkaloid extracted from the bark of the branches of Berberis aristata: in herbal tradition it is associated with support for digestive and hepatic function, with the regularity of intestinal transit and with the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
FOS (fructooligosaccharides) are a prebiotic fibre: they are not digested in the upper gastrointestinal tract, but reach the colon intact, where they act as a fermentation substrate for the intestinal bacterial flora, contributing to regular bowel movements. Butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid, is in fact one of the main products of this fermentation: it is produced naturally by intestinal bacteria from fibre and is the subject of growing interest in research on the wellbeing of the colon mucosa.
EuStabil is designed as nutritional support for those who are coming out of a significant therapeutic pathway and want to face this phase of metabolic transition with some extra help — always alongside, never instead of, their doctor’s instructions.
EuStabil is available in tablets; it is recommended to take two tablets a day, before the main meal.
